The antibiotics cleared up my sinus issues and the pressure / headaches for a few weeks, and then the symptoms slowly came back like last time. Dr. Haislip told me there wasn't anything abnormal with my CT and kept pushing nasal sprays, which I had already told him hadn't worked for me, and he repeated that I needed to use them for at least a month (I did -- both times). He again told me my sinus headaches were just migraines or something, and that I might just have "nerve damage." But then pushed the nasal spray again, because apparently that'll clear up nerve damage, and told me to treat symptoms with Benadryl and ibuprofen. Considering this is a daily issue, that's horrible advice.
If I could leave 0 stars, I would. The front desk staff are nice, but that's about it.
If you have a small issue that may be fixed with nasal sprays, go ahead and get an appointment here. Otherwise, suffer the wait time of seeing a doctor who actually cares about their patients and takes the time to listen to what they have to say. I lost track of how many times I had to repeat myself on previous treatment and symptoms.
My right nasal passage is still blocked -- very little air gets through -- and remains painful. It was a waste of time and money dealing with this place.
I needed to see an ENT for persisting sinus issues (7 months of them at the time -- 10 months as of now), and after another local place lost my referral from my PCP twice, I was able to get an appointment here quickly. Dr. Haislip entered the room and basically ignored everything I said about previous treatment and what I had done to try to remedy my sinus issues. I was placed on antibiotics (the same dosage and length my PCP placed me on), and we scheduled a CT scan and follow up. He also attributed my sinus pressure, which started in my face and spread up through my jaw, to my ear, to my head, as migraines or headaches that were unrelated.
