I shopped around to find the best deal before installing a new furnace
Our furnace stopped working so we called a company in town I will refer to as "X heating and cooling". They replaced our igniter and told us the furnace was on its last leg and needed to be replaced. That same evening the furnace stopped working again. I called "X heating and cooling" to give me an estimate on replaement. They looked at the furnace and suggested that it may be the control board and promised to return with an estimate.

I then called Kennedy for an estimate and they arrived shortly thereafter. Imagine my surprise when Frank and Matt told me that the furnace didn't need replaced and would be fine for years to come! They checked the furnace and found that "X heating and cooling" had not replaced the igniter correctly and it had blown the control board. Frank and Matt from Kennedy replaced both the igniter and control board for about $10 more than "X heating and cooling" had charged for just the igniter. They also cleaned and serviced the furnace while they were here!!! Lesson learned! If you want it done right for a reasonable cost, and want people who are honest and professional, you should call Kennedy.
