Hotel looks and smells new. Very clean and great friendly staff! Can't say the same for Fairmont, but love the hotel.
Typical Hampton. Room was clean and front desk service was friendly and prompt. Breakfast was also typical. While here eat at the copper house, ambiance is good, food is excellent, and you get 10% discount if you mention staying at this hotel.

My family stayed two nights. Great free breakfast. Friendly staff but we found cockroaches in 2 of the 3 rooms we stayed in, that ruined the stay for me.
Not the very best Hampton Inn I've stayed at, but perfectly acceptable. Check in went smoothly, the room was clean and appealing, like most Hampton Inn rooms I've been in. I liked that there were cookies to be had in the lobby at 9:00 at night. The battery in the TV remote control seemed a bit weak; you almost had to be right up next to the TV to use it. I spent the day moving my son into his dorm, and I would have liked to soak in a nice warm tub tonight, but - no tub. This is the second hotel room I've had in two weeks where there was no tub - apparently this is a trend. MAJOR kudos, though, because this shower had a small wedge in the corner where I could prop up my feet one at a time! Most hotel stand-up showers have smooth walls with no place to rest your foot. This one was much nicer!
