The entrance was modern with a nice fireplace and seating. The breakfast was above average based on other chains I have stayed at. It was nice and quiet at night too.
Other than that it was fine. Very typical Holiday Inn Express. Clean. Comfortable. Friendly. Efficient. Pleasant.
Dropped my sister off at the hotel, where she was checking in. Staff greeted her very promptly and got her checked in very quickly.
I've stayed in Holiday Inn Expresses all over the place and they are all good, but this one irritated me because it had only one spare outlet on one side of the bed, and none on the other. Lots of older hotels have solved the problem with lamps that have an extra outlet or two and sometimes even USB ports for charging phones -- this one had standard lamps with no outlets. I had to unplug a lamp so I could plug something in that needed to be plugged in.
FANTASTIC Place to stay. First Class from the moment you enter through the doors, go into to your room. Also, breakfast in the morning with so much food and choices of what to eat. A lady was near the food to refresh and food running low. You had an exercise room and pool which had a breathtaking this Hotel.
First and foremost, the desk clerks acted as if it was a chore to get up from the office where they were all just hanging out and chatting to come check us in to a room, with not a single smile or kind word
