I'd do 5 stars if the price was a little better. They do have great food, huge portions (which is probably the reason it's a little pricier), & great waitress! My son, who is 17, really enjoyed the atmosphere & so did I. It's so cute & very clean! Definitely makes you feel like you're back in the 50's/60's :-)
If you value your daughters, nieces and granddaughters, DO NOT LET THEM WORK THERE. They will be treated like a piece of meat, not as an individual. Two cooks there, Todd and Erik, have no respect for any woman. When I worked there, they made sexual remarks to me, even after I shut them down.. Real fast. Also, my 19 year old sister worked there with me and Erik didn't know he needed to keep his hands on the food and off my sisters a**. DJ did nothing so big sister had to come in and let Erik know how I felt. I think I may have scared him, but trust me, HE WILL DO IT AGAIN. There were two Great workers in the kitchen who always had our backs and probably make the best food of all there (Chris and Cody). Bump them up, and kick the other assholes out.
My family and myself visited D J"s Diner on Wed September 27. There was 8 in our party 3 from WV and from OH. The food was great and the waitress was absolutely awesome. We had a great time!!!!! I would eat there alot if was close to home. We will definitely eat there again and tell all our family and friends about it. Thanks again!!!!!
Always a good time! Great food, good service, and I especially enjoy the fact that they feature Fox News on their tv's! TIP: Try the stuffed peppers!
Server was polite but slow, burger was horrible, only cooked one way, well done. Bun was dry/stale. Cooks use"whirl"or some faux oil which gave it a bad taste, fries were undercooked and old. First and last visit
